Far East to East Showcase 2009 @ Webster Hall

FETES 2009 was super awesome! I enjoyed all the bands. This was my second time seeing Echostream. They've definitely improved from last time I was them opening for Phantasmagoria, because all I remember is them doing cover songs lol. Gelatine was crazy awesome. I was scared I might get hit with Seiko's chain collar ^^; because I was in the front and Webster Hall's basement is super tiny Swinging Popsicle was just so cute and mellow. I wish I bought their album NYAF cleaned me out :[ Kokusyoku Sumire was just so amazing! Maybe I'm biased lol I loved how they sprinkled jokes within their set. Each band had about 45 minutes to an hour set.
I really hope NYAF does this again next year when they combine with Comic-Con. Maybe they can get bigger acts.
